Through painting, both the act of and the looking at, I have mostly learned from what I don't want to accept on the way to developing imagery that I like.
I attended the New York Studio School for three years, studying with Esteban Vicente, George McNeil, Philip Guston and Charles Cajori. Subsequently, I received a MFA in painting from Columbia University.
I’ve taught painting and drawing at Pace University, Fashion Institute of Technology and other colleges in the New York area.
I’ve exhibited my work at various New York area galleries including Ronald Feldman Gallery, Elizabeth Harris Gallery and John Davis Gallery in Hudson, New York.
